FRAME ASSEMBLY

Choose your frame assembly.  You decide how much or how little of the major gunsmithing work you want Brazos to do.   Bonus:  With the purchase of any frame assembly, get 10% OFF the parts parts required to complete your build.

We do most of the work --- Our most comprehensive frame assembly is a Shortblock – this includes a frame, slide, barrel, and slide stop all fitted to each other by Brazos.  Choose from:
 

  • Slide-Mounted Optic Build:  Brazos Modular Double Stack (MDS) long/wide frame, Brazos Lightning Optic-Ready five-inch unique slide, Bar-Sto bull barrel. Available in 9x19.
     

  • Open Division Gun Build:  Brazos Modular Double Stack (MDS) standard/wide frame drilled and tapped for scopemount, classic Brazos Lightning slide with ZigRacker installed, Brazos or Bar-Sto one-piece barrel/comp with optional Poppleholes. Available in 9x19 and 38 Super calibers.
     

  • Limited Division Gun Build:  Brazos Modular Double Stack (MDS) long/wide frame, unique Brazos Lightning, Bar-Sto bull barrel. Available in 9x19 and 40 S&W calibers.

We do some of the work --- Start with a Slide-to-Frame Fit where we fit the slide to the frame and you do the barrel fitting yourself. Choose from:
 

  • Slide-Mounted Optic Build:  Brazos Modular Double Stack (MDS) long/wide frame with Brazos Lightning Optic-Ready five-inch unique slide. Available in 9x19.
     

  • Limited Division Gun Build:  Brazos Modular Double Stack (MDS) long/wide frame with unique Brazos Lightning or bald slide. Available in 9x19 or 40 S&W calibers.
     

  • Open Division Gun Build:  Brazos Modular Double Stack (MDS) standard/wide frame drilled and tapped for scopemount, classic Brazos Lightning or bald slide with ZigRacker installed.  Available in 9x19 or 38 Super calibers.

You do most of the work --- If you are prepared to take on most of the project yourself, start with the Brazos Modular Double Stack (MDS) Frame.  Choose from:
 

  • Short/wide frame

  • Five-inch long/wide frame

  • Either long/wide or short/wide frame drilled and tapped for scopemount.
     

Available with a Wilson/Nowlin, Clark/Para, or semi ramp cut.
