Slipstream Offset Scope Mount
The Slipstream Scope Mount is a mount for the C-More
scope. It is mounted to the left of the center of the bore of
the gun as opposed to the normal type of mount that is aligned
with the center of the bore. The offset allows much greater ejection
port clearance and prevents stovepipe jams caused by ejected brass
contacting the bottom of the scope or mount. It makes the gun
much easier to tune. The gun is no longer sensitive to a weak
extractor, ejector tuning is much more forgiving, the gun works
with several different loads, and springs, etc.
Features of the mount:
- All corners are radiused to reduce cracks
- The 90 degree junction between the top plate and the side
plate is radiused for strength and rigidity
- Hole pattern is C-More plus 2 ---- 5 holes 0.375 centers
- Mounting pad is thicker for extra strength
- Side plate is fluted to reduce weight but still stronger
and more rigid than with holes
- Edges beveled so that if brass does strike the mount it will
be thrown clear
